HURRICANE RELIEF & RECOVERY

GRACE CHURCH RELIEF CENTER

After Hurricane Harvey, the Grace Relief Center helped thousands of people of our city begin the recovery process. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated! SHARE this video with your friends as we celebrate what God continues to do through Grace!

Here are some of the highlights from the Grace Relief Center:

• More than 6,000 individual people were assisted with relief supplies.

• 571 volunteers served over a span of 9 days.

• More than 400 truckloads full of supplies were sent out to the community.

• 101 free haircuts were given on-site.

• 1,200 new shoes were given out.

• 1,000 new pillows were donated.

• 4,230 hot meals were served.

• 21 flooded houses were cleaned by volunteer teams.

• Many more people are being offered relief and hope at our five new relief center extensions.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the incredible volunteers who spent countless hours serving our community! It takes A LOT of hands to make something like this happen, and it could not have happened without you. Thank you for all you’ve done to bless the people who came through the Grace Church Relief Center!

RELIEF CENTER TRANSITION

In order to expand the Grace Church Relief effort, we are transitioning the distribution of donations to five locations across the city that are closer to the immediate need. Today (9/7) will be the final day of our active Relief Center at the Woodlands location. Moving forward, Grace Woodlands will serve as the headquarters for those relief center locations, as well as through the Grace work teams in homes in the months to come. There’s still a lot of work to be done, and this next phase will multiply our efforts across the city of Houston! Thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard over the last 9 days! It has been incredible to see what God can do through a group of people who are willing to go above and beyond to help those in need!
