On Wednesday, August 28th, we will view a powerful documentary during our Prayer Meeting. The 1916 Project is a documentary that exposes the hidden history of the secular moral revolution, and the architects of our current culture of death. Invite others to join you for this special Prayer Meeting as we continue to stand for life as a church family. ‼️Important Message for Parents Of Teenagers‼️ Anthem Youth (grades 7-12) will meet in the main auditorium with our church to watch the 1916 documentary by Seth Gruber. The documentary addresses the issues on sexual identity and abortion and cuts no corners in its pursuit to bring the things of darkness into the light with Godly conviction, maturity, and boldness. The terminology used in this documentary regarding sexuality, gender, and the behavior and ideals of the people who established Planned Parenthood is very straightforward and blunt, but used in a scientific, historical, and Biblical context. There is an honest display and discussion of the harsh realities happening in the world today. Parents... We wanted you to be aware of the nature of the film so you make the appropriate decision regarding their teenager’s attendance. It is a powerful documentary that gives clarity to the evil of Planned Parenthood’s origins and the culture of death that certain groups continue to promote today. We pray this will open the eyes of youth and adults alike, as well as inform us with knowledge we need to fight in these evil days. From our youth pastors, Conner and Katlin…. "Thank you for trusting us, along with the Anthem team, with your awesome kids. We are so privileged to come alongside God's purposes for you and your family! We hope to see you all tomorrow night!” About the Documentary: In 2019 the New York Times released The 1619 Project in an attempt to rewrite history on the beginnings of American slavery, highlighting the systemic racism behind the largest human rights violation in history – until now. From 1900-2000, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler and Margaret Sanger would spill more innocent blood in the name of eugenics and “progress” than all of previous warlords, tyrants and murderers in human history combined. How did this happen, and how is everything happening today connected? If we want to understand what ideas and individuals brought us third-trimester abortions, infanticide, euthanasia, pornographic “sex-ed,” critical race theory, transgenderism, trans-ing children, drag queen story hour to children, arresting pro-life sidewalk counselors, and labeling parents who speak at school board meetings as “domestic terrorists,” we have to go back to 1916, when Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger opened up her first illegal birth control clinic in the Brownsville section of New York, an area heavily populated by those she deemed “unfit” to reproduce. Seth Gruber and The White Rose Resistance are launching The 1916 Project – a groundbreaking documentary to pull back the curtain and expose the hidden history of the secular moral revolution, while equipping the church to understand the times, resist evil, and rebuild a culture of life.
