Don’t miss this chance to give your child an incredible and memorable experience at Camp Warrior!

FREE Grace Family Fun Days on Wednesdays from 9:30am – 11:30am at Grace Woodlands! Each Wednesday the Carousel, Game Room, and Playscape in Grace Kids Adventure Park will be open!

These are parent-guided times and all parents/guardians are required to stay on site and monitor your children at all times. Please see registration for dates and details.

This class is required for any child 1st grade through 6th grade that is interested in being baptized. Our goal is for children to understand why they are being baptized and the biblical basis involved in that decision. This class will assist us in determining if a child is ready and understands their decision to be Baptized. After we have reviewed the questionnaire and spoken with the child regarding their answers, we will make a decision if the child is ready or needs additional time before being baptized. A member of our staff or Hero Squad will speak with the parents regarding their child/preteen’s readiness to be baptized.

Equipping Kids To Change The World &
Helping to Grow Spiritually-Healthy Families

WE WANT KIDS TO…

LOVE JESUS

Our heart is to guide kids into a relationship with Jesus, where they choose to accept Him as their Savior and Best Friend. To choose to truly follow Him with all their body, soul, and spirit! (Acts 16:31)

KNOW JESUS

We want our kids to really know their Savior! We start by teaching them about His Word, about learning and applying scriptures to their life, how to fast and pray, by showing them how to be worshippers, and by continually growing their faith and trust in Jesus. (John 17:3)

SHARE JESUS

Our mission is to share our greatest gift, Jesus, with the world! We want our kids to love God, love people, and love the world.  This happens by serving in our church, in our community, and supporting missionaries around the world. (Matthew 28:19-20)

IMPORTANT VALUES

WE ARE FAMILY-FOCUSED

Grace Kids and Impact PreTeens are part of the Family Life Ministry at Grace. We are committed to helping grow strong and spiritually-healthy families. Some of the ways we do this is by equipping our kids and youth to change the world through their relationship with Jesus, by having a multi-generational partnership from parents to grandparents, by engaging and supporting our community, and by offering groups, classes, and events that continue to build the family foundation.

WE SERVE OUR COMMUNITY

We reach out to our community through Family Fun Days, Grace Movie Nights, Serve Day, Freedom Conference, and large events throughout the year.  Kids always have a blast on our giant playscape, carousel, and train.  Grace Kids Adventure Park has become a great way to connect and serve families in our community.

THERE'S A PLACE FOR EVERY CHILD (SUPERKIDS)

We want every child to be a part of Grace Kids Adventure Park! For our sensory sensitive kids, we are happy to provide headphones by Snug Kids so they are able to enjoy all we offer and have fun! It is our heart to include all kids in Grace Kids Adventure Park! Depending on your child’s level of needs, it may be necessary to work within our Super Kids Ministry to find a specific volunteer who is able to give one-on-one assistance. This involves a certain process and time to find the right volunteer, so please connect with us at gracekids@gracewoodlands.com and we will schedule a time to meet with you and your child.

WE PARTNER WITH PARENTS

We believe parents to be the most powerful influence in their kids’ lives! That’s why our goal is to partner and come alongside our parents to help and equip them in building a strong Biblical foundation and worldview in their home.

  • We encourage parents to establish church as a consistent part of their weekly schedule to help their kids build relationships, and to establish church as an essential part of their lives as they grow into young adults.
  • We send home our “Kid Connect” pages, that as they fill them out, helps to reinforce the Biblical lesson and principles that were taught in their service.  Once the child fills out this page, they bring it back the next Sunday for 25 KidBux to spend in our Kid’s Store!
  • We send home our Family Connect pages that inform the parents what we are learning, and lays the foundation to continue the discussion at home with the whole family.
  • We offer groups and classes that promote spiritual and Biblical growth in parents and kids.
  • We invite parents to partner with us by joining our Hero Squad Team!  This allow parents to example a life of serving, and gives them the opportunity to leave a spiritual legacy not only in their kids, but in generations of kids!
WE TEACH PRAYER IS ESSENTIAL

We believe prayer is essential in raising up a generation of spiritual warriors, which is why we have our War Room Sunday’s that are a hands-on, practical way we teach our kids and preteens how to pray, how to listen to the voice of the Lord, and how to make prayer a foundation in their life.  As the kids and preteens take a moment to ask God what He wants them to pray about, they learn to hear His voice and pray for topics such as families, community, government, missions, and healing.  We know that their prayers not only change their life, but the lives of those around them!

FAQ’s

It’s our first time... Where do I go first?

If you are a first time guest, please visit the Grace Kids Guest Welcome area and our team will assist you with registration, walk your family to their ministry room, and answer any questions you have about Grace Kids & Impact PreTeens.

By the way… we love seeing new faces in Grace Kids! Every first-time guest is given a VIP bracelet at check-in to let us know they’ve never been here before. Our staff, leaders, and volunteers recognize these stickers and will go above and beyond in helping your child feel right at home.

Will my child feel welcome and safe?

We are parents, too, and we know that nothing is as important as the safety and security of every child. God has entrusted us with caring for your children and we are humbled by this privilege. Here are some of the things we do to keep your kids safe and secure:

  • All children must be registered the first time they visit.
  • Every child and parent will receive a security tag with a randomly generated security code. If you’ve already registered, this is computer generated upon check-in. These tags must be matched when you come to pick up your child. If you lose a tag, we will ask for your driver’s license.
  • Every staff member and volunteer in Grace Kids has been screened through a six step approval process, including a criminal background check.
What is the check-in process?

You may check-in your child at any available check-in station at the entrance of the Grace Kids Adventure Park. (First-time guests can go to the Guest Welcome area.) After checking-in, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the nametag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. (FYI – our Impact PreTeens [Grades 5-6] are released when service is over to meet their parents.)

My child is new... can they stay with their friend even though they are in a different age group?

Our curriculum is adapted in each venue to best fit the age group being taught. Therefore, we encourage children to attend the service in their appropriate age venue. However, we want all children to enjoy their experience in Grace Kids. If a child is uncomfortable attending alone and wishes to attend the service with their friend, find one of our staff team members and we will see what we can do to make it a great experience for them.

How do you contact parents if they are needed during service?

We contact parents by putting the code you received on the screen or if needed, we also text the parents.

Am I allowed to visit my child’s class?
We love to involve our parents in Grace Kids and Impact PreTeens! If you would like to visit your child’s ministry room, a visitor tag is required and can be obtained by going to our Guest Welcome area and they will assist you with this request. We grant our parents three visits into our rooms. To maintain a safe and secure ministry, you will need to become an approved volunteer in order to continue visiting after the third time. Become a Hero and volunteer to leave a legacy! To learn more about becoming a Grace Kids volunteer email gracekids@gracewoodlands.com
What curriculum do you use?

We use a variety of curriculum resources to take our kids & preteens on a Christ-centered journey through God’s Word! They will discover, explore, imagine, and connect with the truth and wonder of the Bible.  They will engage in and learn how to pray through our War Room Sundays and they will come to understand how the Gospel of Jesus will transform their hearts and lives.
