Join us for our Grace Outpost FREE breakfast for active duty and retired first responders and military. Luis Matallana, a Firefighter Paramedic will share. The event takes place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10 am in the Student Center. Don't miss this incredible gathering!

• Luis was born and raised in Peru, South America and moved to the U.S. 20 years ago. He met his wife Nancy in 2004.
• In October of 2008, while unemployed and with his first born, Luis went to a Men’s retreat, and God showed him his calling… “I am gonna become a Fireman.”
• Fast forward 7 years and in God’s perfect timing, Luis was hired as a Fireman Paramedic with the Oakland, CA Fire Department.
• He worked in Oakland for 7 years and then moved to Texas in 2021…he has been working for Village Fire Department ever since.
• He and Nancy have been married for almost 20 years, and they have 2 sons. Nico 16 and Gianni 13. The family now lives in Conroe and couldn’t be happier.
