  • Grandparenting from a Christian Perspective

    The most valuable legacy we can leave is our spiritual legacy of faith in Jesus Christ. Grandparents have an incredible opportunity to create a legacy of faith in their grandchildren and generations to follow and at the same time receive years of great fun (yes, some of it very tiring!). What does God’s Word teach about family heritage? What are the responsibilities and benefits of grandparenting from a Christian perspective?

    Join Renee and Jim Trevathan for a two-part class filled with experiences and ideas on navigating the joys and challenges of grandparenting under the Lord’s leading. The Trevathans are well-equipped in this area, having ten grandkids of their own ranging in age from 4 to 16 years, from their three adult kids who are in their late thirties and early forties. Renee and Jim have a tremendous wealth of stories and support for anyone walking through their grandparenting years.

    Join us for the FREE Grace Marriage Conference happening Friday, February 23rd! This conference is for you to strengthen your relationship with your spouse, learn more about God’s design for marriage, and connect with other Godly couples. Whether you’ve been married 5 months or 50 years, this conference will help you ignite the purpose, passion, and fulfillment that God has in mind for your marriage. Through our focused breakout sessions, you’ll be able to choose what you need to learn about in this specific season of your life. Plus, the best time to learn how to have a healthy marriage may be before you actually get there, so if you’re single, dating, or engaged, this conference has sessions for you too! 

    Registration is FREE and childcare is provided (birth - grade 6).

    The Grace Market will be open during the conference to purchase resources, t-shirts, kids items, Bibles, and more!

    Registration, childcare and the Grace Market will open at 6:15pm. Light refreshments and water will be available throughout the conference.

    Join us on Thursday, March 21st, from 10:30am-2pm in the Worship Center for a free lunch and for the second portion of our two part series... "The Life & Teachings of Paul" presented by Dr. Sam Thomas. Attendance for part one is not required to attend part two.

    Apostle Paul is one of the greatest of Christians of all times. He definitely is the most influential of all Christians. He is the author of almost half of the books of the New Testament. Millions of people have read his writings over the centuries. Hundreds, even thousands, of commentaries have been written on his life and writings. Hundreds of thousands of sermons have been preached based on his letters. Several PhD dissertations are written on Paul every year. His pre-Christian life was very antagonistic to Christ; his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus and subsequent conversion was miraculous; his life as a Christian was selfless, productive and strategic.
