    Dr. Jeff Seif, International Minister to Israel, Grace International, will be our guest speaker for two days!

    On Wednesday, August 24th during our regular Prayer Meeting, he will be sharing about “The True Story of the Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean and How They Formed America’s First Navy.”

    On Thursday, August 25th be part of a live video recording of “Old Testament Survey” with Dr. Seif at 10:30Am-2:30PM; lunch provided. Then at 7pm he will be sharing a seminar about “The Israeli and Iranian Conflict in Ancient History and Prophecy.” Childcare available for Thursday evening, but registration is required.

    Introduction to Basic Christian Teachings is an attempt to study the fundamental doctrines of Christianity. This study seeks to systematically study and understand what we believe as Christians about the Bible, God, Trinity, Sin, Salvation, and so on. Our primary textbook is the Bible. We will explore the Bible in depth to understand our Christian faith.

  • Freedom Conference

    Jesus encourages us in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

    Our Grace Freedom Conference is designed to equip you to live the life God fully intended for you to live. Join us for this free one-day conference on Saturday, November 8th, from 9am-5pm - including lunch! Dive deeper into freedom through powerful praise & worship, bible-based teachings on topics like forgiveness, healing from family relationship hurts, breaking free from depression, shame, generational strongholds and more through focused prayer and ministry times.     High School aged teens may attend the conference with their parents. Childcare for ages Birth-6th Grade is available through registration.

    Join us for our Freedom Bible Study that meets on Tuesdays at 7pm leading up to our November 8th Freedom Conference!

    We will have a This Is How We Fight Our Battles class starting after the Conference on Thursdays at 7pm.

    Join us for our Grace Outpost FREE breakfast for active duty and retired first responders and military. Joe Peoples will be our guest speaker.  The event takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10 am in the Student Center. Don't miss this incredible gathering! 

    Joe was born in 1965 in Galveston, Texas.
    Education and Career:

    • He graduated from Galveston Ball High School (1983).
    • Graduated from Texas Dept of Corrections (1984) and worked as a Prison Guard.
    • Graduated from a State Police Academy (1986)
    • Served as a Deputy Constable with Harris County Pct. 5 for 30 years (1986 - 2016)
    • He provided off-duty police security for 19 years at Lakewood Church. (1996-2015)
    • Earned BS and MS in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University (1996-2006)
    • Was Inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society at Sam Houston (1998)
    • Achieved a Master Peace Officer Certification 2001Personal Life
    • Achieved 2nd degree Black Belt (TKD and Karate) (1989)
    • As a 1st degree Black Belt, Joe competed as a professional full-contact kickboxer and was world ranked in his division.
    • He was featured in a 6 round semi-main event on ESPN in 1985.
    • He has been involved in Martial Arts since 1975 and has been an instructor for 45 years.
    • Since retiring from Law Enforcement, he has started his own TKD program and ministry for the last 10 years at Extraordinary Education Homeschool Support Association. His classes are Faith Based and Christ centered. His students to date, have won over 100 medals in martial arts competitions.Family Life:
    • Joe has been married to his wife, Teri for 35 years.
    • They have 2 adult children. Nick who just became a medical Doctor and Katie, who is obtaining a MS in counseling.
    • Joe became a Christian in 1985
    • Joe and Teri have been members at Grace Woodlands for over 7 years.
