Join us on Thursday, March 7th at 7pm for a free showing of “Letter to the American Church”, an adaptation of the best-selling book written by Eric Metaxas. Eric and several leading conservative voices of today explain how cultural Marxism has taken over America, including the church.

This film is a wake-up call to the church to stand up and speak out against the evil that is manifesting in our country. Our cast gives practical examples on how to take action and turn our country back to freedom, liberty, and ultimately, God Himself.

Grace Movie Night is FREE and has something for everyone! 
Attractions are open 6:00-7:00 pm. All movies start at 7:15 pm! This is a family-led event – all children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, including during the movie times, and teens ages 13-17 years of age must have an adult 18 years or older on-site and inside the building at all times. Admission is free. Seating is limited!

Feature Presentations

Feel free to bring in your own snacks for the movie! Please limit snacks to candy, popcorn, and bottled water only. No alcohol, tobacco, gum, soda, or other outside food is permitted.

Jon Burkley will be speaking. Jon Burkley is the Pastor of Missions and Adult Discipleship at Grace Church Houston.

  • A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jon has served as an officer in the Army, and then 35 years as a business leader in the corporate world.
  • While on a visit to India in 2012, Jon received a call to ministry, and after retirement joined the staff at Grace Church Houston in 2014.
  • Since that time, Jon has led 75 mission and ministry trips in 24 countries, bringing assistance and encouragement to Grac International (GI) churches and missionaries.
  • Jon was appointed to the GI International Ministries Board in 2017, became Interim Director of International Ministries in 2019, and then was appointed Director of International Ministries in October 2021.
  • Jon has been married to Sydney for 43 years; they have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

The Life & Teachings of Paul with Dr. Sam Thomas

Join us on Thursday, March 21st, from 10:30am-2pm in the Worship Center for a free lunch and for the second portion of our two part series... "The Life & Teachings of Paul" presented by Dr. Sam Thomas. Attendance for part one is not required to attend part two.

Apostle Paul is one of the greatest of Christians of all times. He definitely is the most influential of all Christians. He is the author of almost half of the books of the New Testament. Millions of people have read his writings over the centuries. Hundreds, even thousands, of commentaries have been written on his life and writings. Hundreds of thousands of sermons have been preached based on his letters. Several PhD dissertations are written on Paul every year. His pre-Christian life was very antagonistic to Christ; his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus and subsequent conversion was miraculous; his life as a Christian was selfless, productive and strategic.

You are not meant to struggle and do life by yourself, so we want to get you connected! If you are a parent of a 6th-12th grader, we want to connect with you on Monday, March 25th at 6:30- 8 PM at Burroughs Park (9738 Hufsmith Rd Tomball, TX 77375)- by the volleyball courts.
Anthem Youth Family Connect will be a time for youth leaders, parents, and students to get to know one another while participating in games and community time. We will have a short time of encouragement and prayer. We will also have some giveaways for your family! 
 
We believe that God has placed you here for such a time as this, and we want to give you the tools to not only survive but thrive with your family. We can’t wait to see you Monday, March 25th at 6:30 PM! 
 
We will not have childcare available at the church. Bring your whole family along!
